You’ll need to recharge your SIM Card:
(a) If you’re staying longer than 30 days;
(b) If you want to call or text Australian numbers;
(c) If you want to call or text from the UK to Europe numbers.
As a service for our customers you can purchase your recharge here with your Australian credit card or Paypal. But if you want to you can also recharge directly with Three (at three.co.uk) or buy a recharge voucher from a store in the UK if you wish to do that (it may be chepaer to recharge directly with Three).
If you buy a recharge on our website, we email you a voucher number within 24 hours with instructions on how to redeem/use the voucher.
If you buy a recharge directly with Three or from a store in the UK, we’re unable to provide any support for redeeming/using the voucher or any problems that might arise.
Recharge your SIM Card for another 30 days
Has your 30 days ended? Need to extend? Learn more.
If you’re staying longer than 30 days:
(a) And you’ve ONLY been in Europe, then you cannot buy a recharge voucher because your SIM Card can only be used for a maximum of 30 consecutive days in Europe (this was advised to you on our website order page when you purchased your SIM Card).
(b) And you’ve been in both the UK & Europe, then you can buy a recharge voucher that gives you another 30 days of data, calls and texts.
Recharge voucher options are:
- $35 for 10GB of data + unlimited calls & texts, lasts 30 days
- $45 for 30GB of data + unlimited calls & texts, lasts 30 days
- $55 for 60GB of data + unlimited calls & texts, lasts 30 days
- $80 for UNLIMITED data + unlimited calls & texts, lasts 30 days
You can only use 12GB of the data in Europe. No limit in the UK.Â
Run out of data during the 30 days? You can’t add more data, within 30 days, so don’t buy a recharge (the new 30 days only starts when the current 30 days ends). Instead, you could log into your account at three.co.uk to check what data packs are available for you to purchase directly with Three UK.

Have you used up all your data within 30 days? Learn more.
If you’ve used up all your data within 30 days, you still get the unlimited calls and texts for the rest of the 30 days, but you’ll need to wait for the 30 days to end to buy a recharge voucher on our website. However, you can create an account at three.co.uk and check if there’s any data add-ons to purchase (we don’t offer the ability to recharge to get extra data within the 30 days).
You might have used all your data in the following ways:
(1) You’re in the UK and used all the data (e.g., if you purchased the 30GB SIM Card and you used all of the 30GB); or
(2) You’re in Europe and used 12GB of the data (remember that in Europe you can only use 12GB of your data); or
(3) Both 1 and 2 apply.
Also using your phone as a hotspot will use a considerable amount of data, possibly many GB of your data.

When you buy a recharge voucher on our website, we email you a voucher number within 24 hours with instructions on how to redeem/use the voucher.
Need to call or text Australian numbers? Buy a recharge voucher that gives you a set amount of £ cash money to make calls to Australian landline numbers and mobile numbers and send texts to Australian mobile numbers.
You can recharge $25 for £10 credit, $110 for £50 credit, or $200 for £100 credit.
Once you add the £ cash money to your SIM Card, here’s what it costs to call or text Australian numbers:
When you’re in the UK: £0.03 (3p) per minute to call, £0.25 per text sent and £0.40 per MMS sent.
When you’re in Europe (including in Republic of Ireland): £1.40 per minute to call, £0.35 per text sent and £0.40 per MMS sent.
